We are delighted to inform you that MISS MOHSINA CHOUDHURY, Class IX, daughter of Mr. Mainul Haque Choudhury and Mrs. Nazma Begum of Abhayapuri, Bongaigaon and MISS ARBIN AJMUL HOQUE, Class IX, daughter of Mr. Ajmul Hoque and Mrs. Jefrina Hoque of Jogighopa, Bongaigaon are short listed to participate in the Young Scientist Programme: “YUva VIgyani KAryakram – YUVIKA” (युविका), sponsored by Indian Space Research Institute (ISRO).
The Program is primarily aimed at imparting basic knowledge on Space Technology, Space Science and Space Applications to the younger ones with the intent of arousing their interest in the emerging areas of Space Activities. The program is envisioned for creating awareness amongst the youngsters who are the future building blocks of our Nation. ISRO has chalked out this programme to “Catch them Young”. The programme will be of two weeks duration tentatively from 11th May to 22nd May, 2020 and the schedule will include invited talks, experience sharing by the eminent scientists, facility and lab visits, exclusive sessions for discussions with experts, practical and feedback sessions.
This is noteworthy to mention that, from All Assam, only 10 students have qualified for this prestigious event and these two Bronsonians are amongst those 10 shortlisted candidates. Now they are in Final Stage and after verification of certain documents, final selection will be done by YUVIKA – ISRO.
