On 10th February, 2019, MBRS observed Saraswati Puja with full ritual and splendor. Dr. N. K. Dutta, Founder and Principal, MBRS and Mrs. Nandini Dutta, Secretary, Miles Bronson Education Society, conveyed their cordial Greetings to the entire MBRS fraternity at the very beginning of the auspicious day.
The Bronsonians worshipped the Goddess of Wisdom, Learning and Knowledge in the early morning in their respective hostels (Mansarover, Lohit, Tsangpo, Subansiri and Brahmaputra) along with their House Parents and House Masters with full sanctity. At around 11 AM, all the students congregated at school’s assembly courtyard with their traditional attire for the “Yagya Ahuti” and offered a deep solicitation to “Devi Saraswati”. The auspicious occasion took its major festive charm when all the students and teachers in unison extended the “Pushpanjali” with utmost devotion. The Children prayed for the Almighty's blessings for excellent performance in the Boards and the Session Ending Examinations.
Later, the entire bonhomie enjoyed the “Prasad”. In tune with the holy occasion a vegetarian ceremonial lunch “Khichri” was extended which was relished by every Bronsonian.
