- On 5th of January, 2016 a group of 25 students and 3 teachers moved on to an excursion for 8 nights and 9 days beginning from Delhi - Amritsar - Manali - Kulu - Shimla - Chandigarh and back to Delhi. It was a unique excursion in which 1900 kilometer was covered by Air, 1879 kilometer by Rail, 1700 kilometer by road and 14 kilometer by water--a whole taste of enjoyment with patience, tolerance, team work, discipline, punctuality and concern of safety. It was a fulfilling venture of wide range of experience and experiments with Nature, feel of Climate, passing through Valleys, traveling Snail roads, facing heavy snow falls, trying snow skiing in sub zero temperature, Rafting in bone chilling water and adventure sports in freezing cold temperature. All got a chance of mingling with a new culture and the people of North India specially learning their general habits of food! A rare experience of shopping skills, cautious movement in crowded places, check in at Air port, railway station and finally the behavioural etiquettes in star hotels. The return from excursion carries a lasting memory of the Golden temple, Jalianwala Bag, BSF parade at Wagha Boarder, Rohtang pass, Solang Valley, Hadimba Temple (mentioned in Mahabharata), Adventure sports at Kufri in Shimla, world famous Rock Garden in Chandigarh, Sukhna lake, shopping in sector-17 of Chandigarh. The excursion comes to its climax with Delhi 'Darshan', round-about of Red Fort, Jama Masjid, India gate, Supreme Court of India, AIIMS and DLF city mall in Saket .
