In the Education World India School Rankings 2016 Awards Ceremony, city’s premier co-ed boarding institution Miles Bronson Residential School, Guwahati was conferred 2nd Position in the Education World Grand Jury Awards 2016 Green School India by Dr. Robert Sun, Chairman, First in Maths, USA.
In the school ranking category MBRS has emerged 9th in the All India Co-Ed Boarding School category in which under 5 parameters viz: (i) Community Service (ii) Value for Money (iii) Pastoral Care (iv) Internationalism (v) Life Skills & conflict management, MBRS was ranked top ten amongst all legacy boarding schools including Boys, Girls and Co-Ed purely boarding schools, which has brought laurels to the North East India. MBRS has been adjudged in the parameters of Community service National Rank 7, Value for money 7th, Pastoral care 9th, Internationalism 10th and Life skills education and conflict management 10th positions respectively across the country.
The Award was given away to Dr. N. K. Dutta, Founder and Principal, MBRS along with Miss Neha Dutta, Alumnus and Governor, MBRS by Padmashree Shayama Chona, Founder & President of Tamana Association and Mr. Shantanu Prakash, Chairman and Managing Director of Educomp at the Convention Hall, Leela Kempenski, Gurgaon on 23rd September, 2016.
