- Miles Bronson Residential School, Borjhar, Guwahati has observed World Environment Day on 5th June, 2015. However, in order to inculcate the values of environment and to create environmental awareness among the students a series of activities have been conducted throughout the day. The Environment Day observation began with the speech of Miss Allice Saha, a student of class XI-Arts followed by the speech of Dr. N.K Dutta (Founder & Principal, MBRS). In his speech Dr. Dutta highlighted various environmental issues such as Global Warming, Ozone Layer Depletion, Deforestation etc being suffered by the mother earth. Dr. Dutta also urged the students to be committed (towards the environment) and to work for the protection and promotion of the environment. Amongst all the activities, the notable activities are Environment Oath written by Former President Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam, Skit on Waste Management, Signature Drive, Tree Plantation, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Debate Competition, Art Competition and Slogan Writing Competition.
