Assam Governor Felicitates CBSE Sahodaya toppers at Miles Bronson Residential School, 2024

The First Sahodaya CBSE Board Toppers Felicitation Ceremony was organized at Miles Bronson Residential School (MBRS), Borjhar on Thursday, 20th June 2024, 11:00 a.m. at the AnuChandra Auditorium and Multi-Sports complex at Miles Bronson Residential School, Borjhar, Guwahati.

This program was held to honour 50 school toppers of CBSE affiliated school of Greater Guwahati. The Chief Guest of the occasion was Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, Governor of Assam and the special invitees were Shri Sandeep Tandon, Regional Officer, CBSE, Guwahati and Shri Jagadish Barman, Joint Secretary, COE, Regional Office, Guwahati.

In his address the Chief Guest while applauding the toppers have urged upon them to develop a holistic approach to learning where he emphasized the importance of both Academics and Co-curricular activities for the all-round development. He congratulated the students for the outstanding results and how they become dynamic agents of social change and development. He pointed out the huge human capital that young India has got and how we can transform our country through right education and experience and the coming future.

In his inaugural address president of Sahodaya and principal miles Bronson residential school highlighted the importance of organizing such an event. He cited that exhorting the student to carry out with their pursuit of excellence the meritorious students were awarded. Celebrating success and rewarding the toppers not only makes the students feel good but also impacts their memory, learning, motivation and other cognitive functions. It is driver behind self-esteem and creating a positive school culture. It also motivates other students to perform better, apart from toppers.

The Head Girl of the School Sudarshini Kalita, XII Science along with co-host Heisnam Serena Devi, XII Science and Pallavi Phenang, XII Science explained the theme of the event “the Building Blocks of Students Success” which comprises of the school, Principal, Teachers and parents. The meeting was attended by the toppers, Parents and Principals of 50 CBSE Schools from Guwahati.
