Miles Bronson Residential School Celebrates Teachers’ Day 2024 (Residential): Teacher: A Constant Source of Inspiration

On Saturday, September 7th, 2024, Miles Bronson Residential School (MBRS) celebrated Teachers’ Day with a heartfelt tribute to the Nation Builders – our respected teachers. The event was a grand occasion, held in the Anu Chandra Auditorium and Multi-Sports Complex, and commenced at 6:30 PM with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the revered Founder and Principal, Dr. Nripen Kr. Dutta.

Principal’s Address
In his inspiring speech, Dr. Dutta emphasized the pivotal role that teachers play in shaping the future of children. He commended the teachers’ dedication, particularly during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Dutta also paid homage to Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhupen Hazarika, the legendary icon of Assamese music.

Student Performances
The evening was filled with vibrant performances, showcasing the talents of MBRS students. A special dance performance by the students of Brahmaputra House, titled “Bom Bom Bole,” enthralled the audience. The young performers included:
