- Theme: Use Dustbins for Life Miles Bronson Residential School celebrated the World Environment Day with much pomp and fervor on 6 June 2016 inside the school campus. Our day started with a speech on World Environment Day by a student of class XII followed by a 'Plantation Drive' where 50 soplings were planted which were supplied to the school by WWF. Plantation was done in the presence of a very special guest and speaker, Dr. Birubala Rabha. Dr. Rabha is a great inspiration who has been fighting against the menace of witch hunting. Dr. Rabha enlightened the students in the lecture Session entitled "Witch Hunting and Tribal Society : Myth vs Reality". In the Interactive Session she also answerd the questions asked by the enthusiastic students. The day was full of events such as poster making competition, slogan writing, debate and extempore competition. This raised a lot of awareness about environment, nature, superstitions and helped the students in expending their knowledge and responsibility in saving our "Mother Earth".
