AFS India Member Schools 7th National Meet 2025

The AFS India Member Schools 7th National Meet was held from 20th to 23rd November 2025 at The Manik Public School, Manik Nagar, Bidar, Karnataka. Guided by the theme “Bridging Cultures – Building Futures,” the event brought together 68 AFS member schools and over 200 delegates, including principals, coordinators, students, and international exchange representatives.
The meet aimed to foster intercultural learning, global citizenship, leadership development, and collaborative growth among young learners.

Day-Wise Highlights

Day 1 — 20 November 2025

Delegates arrived for registration, followed by a visit to Manik Prabhu Temple. A vibrant dandiya performance and a traditional dinner served on banana leaves provided a warm and culturally rich welcome.

Day 2 — 21 November 2025

The day opened with the Subharambh Ceremony, featuring addresses from AFS leaders including Mr. Daniel Obst (President & CEO, AFS International), Ms. Diya Badgel, and Mr. Jayant Harihar Lal. Keynote speakers HH Shri Dynanraj Manik Prabhu Maharaj Ji and Mr. Prasanna Sant emphasized the importance of cultural values and personal development.

Students engaged in poster presentations, an essay competition, and a visit to the cow shed accompanied by a bullock-cart ride. Teachers attended regional report presentations. The evening offered enriching cultural experiences with Malkham, the Prakashanjali Light and Sound Show, and a lively DJ night.

Day 3 — 22 November 2025

Delegates explored Bidar Fort and visited the Gurudwara, participating in Karsewa and Langar. While principals and coordinators took part in a networking discussion, students visited the school’s fruit orchard and participated in Khel Gully traditional games, encouraging renewed interest in age-old sports such as Langdi.

Day 4 — 23 November 2025

The final day featured a meaningful reflection session, followed by Abharanjali, which included the vote of thanks and certificate distribution. Delegates then proceeded for departure.
