MBRS Conferred With The National Education Excellence Awards - 2017 By ASSOCHAM
On 23rd February, 2017, The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), has conferred the prestigious National Education Excellence Awards - 2017 in the category of "Best Use of Technology in Schools" to Miles Bronson Residential School (MBRS), a premier co-ed boarding school of the city which has brought laurels and accolades to the city, state and the entire NE India. On the occasion of the 10th ASSOCHAM Higher Education Summit, New Delhi, the award was presented to Dr. N. K. Dutta, Founder and Principal, MBRS by Shri Sandeep Jajodia, President, ASSOCHAM in the presence of Shri Prakash Javadekar, Honorable Union Minister of Human Resource Development (HRD), Government of India who graced the event as the Chief Guest. The programme was observed at Hotel Imperial, Janpath, New Delhi. The core idea of conferring this National Excellence Awards is to encourage and felicitate the education institutions, universities, colleges, schools, technology & service providers who have continuously been contributing significantly in bringing good quality and high value education a way forward to skill development, employability, research and innovations for a better India. ASSOCHAM has extended accreditation to MBRS for its unparallel breakthrough in different parameters like Innovation, Scalability, Ability to Overcome Challenges, National and International Achievement, Impactful Pedagogy, etc. The theme of the event was "Bridging the gap between Education and Industry" with the objective to build Entrepreneurial Ecosystem. The Government has taken holistic and integrated approach in structuring the National Higher Education with new steps and initiatives to strengthen quality in the existing institutions and universities while establishing linkages between Industry, Academia and Government as well as to stimulate Digital India.
